Artistic composition of amethyst geode slices on a stand

Elegant composition of deep purple Amethyst — This lot features an artistic arrangement of four slices of amethyst geode, mounted on a refined metal stand. Each slice reveals the internal magnificence of Amethyst, characterized by deep purple crystals that gleam under light, framed by bands of agate with white, gray, and blue-green hues that highlight the outer edge and transitions to the host rock. The slices, precisely cut, show the central crystalline cavity typical of geodes, where the violet quartz crystals formed. The polished surface enhances the depth of color and the glassy luster of Amethyst, while the rough outer edge preserves the natural texture of the rock, creating a fascinating contrast between organic shape and refined craftsmanship. Amethyst is a variety of quartz, whose violet coloration is attributed to iron impurities and natural irradiation. It is one of the most prized gems, known since antiquity for its beauty and for its use in jewelry and ornamental objects. The most famous deposits are found in Brazil and Uruguay, where geodes of considerable size form. The arrangement of the slices on the stand is designed to create a dynamic and harmonious visual effect, making this piece a sophisticated decorative element and a focal point for any mineral collection or home environment. Its aesthetics make it ideal for a modern Wunderkammer or as a high-end decorative piece. This specimen is in excellent condition. Any small irregularities, cavities, or color variations are intrinsic to its natural formation and attest to its authenticity and uniqueness.
