Austria, Italy - Fantasy - Art Nouveau "Belle Époque"...

Lot of 19 Art Nouveau 'Belle Époque' Postcards - Female Figures, Children, Flowers and 4 Arts - Back undivided (1898-1902) - New/Uncirculated Splendid and exceptional cohesive lot composed of 19 original vintage postcards in full Liberty / Art Nouveau style, dating from the pioneering period of card collecting (1898-1902). The lot is made up of four thematically homogeneous series in terms of style, color palette and preservation: 1. The Series of the Four Major Arts (4 postcards): Complete set representing the feminine allegories of Painting, Sculpture, Music and Poetry/Literature. 2. Floral/ Seasons Series (5 postcards): Elegant female figures in sinuous poses surrounded by botanical motifs (roses, daisies, lilies of the valley). 3. Japonisme Series 'Oriental Dames' (4 postcards): Complete and homogeneous set combining the exotic charm of the East with Liberty Style, depicting elegant female figures in traditional dresses set within rich decorative frames (lanterns, fans and parasols). 4. Gallant Scenes / Eighteenth-Century Courtship Series (2 postcards): Coordinated pair in Romantic-Era style, depicting elegant courtship scenes between ladies and gentlemen in 18th-century costumes (crinolines, wigs and damask jackets), immersed in idyllic and theatrical atmospheres. 5. Outdoor Children / Romantic Scenes Series (4 postcards): Complete set portraying pairs of children in elegant Belle Époque outfits, captured in moments of play and idealized outdoor courtship. Each scene expresses a sweet infantile complicity through small gestures (strolling with a cane and parasol, the act of showing a doll or picking flowers), all framed by pastoral backdrops and pastel floral details. All postcards feature an undivided back, a fundamental historical element that certifies production before 1902, prior to the International Postal Reform. They show no visible signatures, but the chromolithographic print quality on premium card stock is of the highest standard. • Format: Antique / Small (about 9x14 cm) • Condition: Excellent / New (Uncirculated). No stamps, no inscriptions, no postal marks. Crisp corners and paper extraordinarily fresh for the era, with minimal and natural signs of aging.
