Austria. Maria-Theresia. Thaler (taler) 1780 restrike (No reserve price)

It's one of the most famous silver coins, fascinating and widely used in the history of world trade. After the death of Empress Maria Theresa of Austria in 1780, the Vienna Mint continued to strike this coin, always keeping the year 1780 'frozen'. The year printed on the coin (1780) followed by an X (Burgundy cross) added to indicate compliance with the minting monetary treaty. Material: Silver 833.33/1000 Weight: 28.06 g Diameter: 39.50 mm Thickness: 2.50 mm Engraver: Tobias Schobl (for the obverse with the Empress's portrait) and Joseph Faby (for the reverse with the double-headed Habsburg eagle) Edition: considered unlimited as it is a coin for commerce and investment produced continuously for over two centuries. Austria continues to mint it to this day through the official Mint.
