Alla auktioner / Fordon / Autobianchi - Bianchina Panoramica - 1968
The 1968 Autobianchi Bianchina Panoramica is a relatively rare and affordable classic with character, fully ready for a new enthusiast thanks to a recent restoration. The Panoramica version—the station wagon variant of the iconic Bianchina—was developed in the late 1950s by Autobianchi, a collaboration between Fiat, Bianchi and Pirelli. Whereas the regular Fiat 500 was mainly intended as affordable transport for the general public, Autobianchi positioned the Bianchina as a more elegant and exclusive variant with more luxury and a trendier design. Today, the Panoramica is considered one of the most sought-after variants due to the low production numbers and the unique body style. This example has a mileage of 85,596 kilometers and is registered as a Dutch margin-auto. The compact dimensions, the characteristic engine sound and the charming Italian design make this microcar not only a valuable collecting object, but also an absolute crowd-pleaser at events, drives or classic summer rallies. Body and Paintwork This vehicle is in a very fine condition and presents itself superbly in its stylish yellow color scheme. The body of this rare estate version stands out due to the extended wheelbase and the clever, practical design. The exterior features various original and glossy chrome details that emphasize the car’s exclusive character, including chrome bumpers at the front and rear, chrome mirrors and the original chrome hubcaps. The paint and body parts, thanks to the restoration, are in a very clean and cared-for condition. Technical Under the load floor lies the original rear-mounted and flat four-cylinder 500cc engine. This engine delivers 22 hp and holds the coveted matching-numbers status. The flat configuration of the engine was a technical tour de force at the time, allowing this microcar to offer surprisingly practical luggage space. The powerplant is paired with a manual four-speed gearbox. The technology, largely shared with the Fiat 500 Giardiniera, is known for its simplicity and high fun factor. The vehicle is technically ready for the road and is sold with a spare wheel. Interior The interior exudes pure Italian charm and offers the extra luxury Autobianchi was known for. The cabin is equipped with a beautiful leather interior and comfortable leather seats that pair perfectly with the yellow body color. Thanks to the clever design with the flat engine at the rear, the loading space is optimally utilized, which was unique in this compact class. The entire interior has been carefully restored with attention to detail and is in a fresh and very well-kept state. Documents The Autobianchi is equipped with valid Italian registration papers, which means the car is currently road-ready. Due to the vehicle’s historic age, no COC (Certificate of Conformity) is required for registration within Europe, which makes an import to another European country very straightforward. For the necessary identification and administrative checks, the chassis number (VIN) is 120B157519. The vehicle is sold complete with two sets of keys. Pickup The car can be viewed and picked up in Schiedam, the Netherlands. To provide potential buyers with complete transparency, all technical inspections, extensive viewings and test drives are gladly possible prior to making an offer. After the auction, the seller can optionally assist with organizing worldwide transport and the associated logistics.
