Autori Vari - Italia in Bocca. 16 books - 1976-1981

Collection of 16 volumes from the famous series “In Bocca,” published in Palermo by Edizioni Il Vespro from 1976 and later by Edikronos. It is one of the most sought-after Italian cookery book series by collectors, both in Italy and abroad. Each volume tells the cuisine of a region with traditional recipes, proverbs, poems, and texts in dialect, translated into Italian and English. Even as an object, the books are unique: printed on straw paper, bound in corrugated cardboard with silkscreened covers, illustrated with color plates and in black and white. The lot includes 16 of the 20 titles in the series, one volume per region, no duplicates: Roma in Bocca – Il Vespro, 1976 (first edition) Emilia in Bocca – Il Vespro, 1977 (first edition) Umbria in Bocca – Il Vespro, 1977 Romagna in Bocca – Il Vespro, 1978 Marche in Bocca – Il Vespro, 1978 Valle d’Aosta in Bocca – Il Vespro, 1978 Napoli in Bocca – Il Vespro, 1978 Abruzzo e Molise in Bocca – Il Vespro, 1978 Calabria e Lucania in Bocca – Il Vespro, 1978 Piemonte in Bocca – Il Vespro, 1978 Trento in Bocca – Il Vespro, 1978 Liguria in Bocca – Il Vespro, 1979 Puglie in Bocca – Il Vespro, 1979 Bolzano in Bocca – Il Vespro, 1979 Sardegna in Bocca – Il Vespro, 1979 Toscana in Bocca – Edikronos, 1981 Conditions: excellent.
