INGRAVID FOREST 143 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism. This work is part of a series that sublimates what is natural and the impossible into a single vision. In “Ingravidad Forest,” the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that ties them to the ground. The landscape becomes a stage for the unlikely: a forest that is not held up by the laws of physics, but by the rules of imagination. The reference to Magritte, and also to Dalí, is not incidental: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the ordinary becomes strange, and the impossible, evident.
