Baccarat - Drinking set (6) - Beauharnais - carved crystal - Wine glass set

Set of 6 Baccarat crystal wine glasses, Beauharnais model. Ideal for white wine, also suitable for apéritifs, digestifs, or port. This exquisite antique glassware stands out for its classic Empire-inspired design, and it takes its name in honor of Josephine de Beauharnais, Napoleon Bonaparte's first wife. It features a delicate acid-etched engraving that shows an intricate lace-like frieze with floral motifs, volutes, and garlands. There are 6 pieces manufactured before 1936; specifically, this model is formally cataloged in the firm’s official records dating from 1916. It should be noted that Baccarat’s manufacture began using its famous acid-etched seal from 1936, which is why these pieces lack a physical mark and are authenticated by their registered design in the catalog. Equally significant is that one of the glasses still bears the paper seal used at that time, making this set worthy of collectors. Measurements: glasses with a mouth diameter of 6.5 cm, height 12.4 cm, and capacity of approximately 125 ml. No breaks, no flaws. Excellent condition. Both the description and the photos show the features and condition of the product. Read and observe carefully. If you have any questions or need more information you can contact us.
