Balance or scale - Wood, Metal, Brass

Two-pan balance in pharmacy style – turned wood, brass and iron – circa 1960–1980 Elegant two-pan balance, crafted with a turned wooden base and central column, and an upper brass structure worked with ornamental volute motifs. The two brass pans are suspended by chains from the balance arms. On the base there is the corresponding set of brass weights, housed in the dedicated recesses.
