Baumgarten (X - Village sous la neige

Painting 'Village Under the Snow', late 20th century. 73 x 60 cm It is an oil on canvas signed Baumgarten, an artist born in 1951 in Strasbourg. She studied at the Strasbourg Arts Décoratifs (1967-1970) and painted naïve-style canvases from the 1980s to 2000. The condition of the painting is good with some signs of wear not requiring any particular restoration. The naïve style characterizes this work of excellent quality, with a finely controlled attention to detail and a very well-evoked snowy winter atmosphere. It is a painting that invites the eye to linger on finely rendered elements such as figures, trees, houses... The canvas will be shipped rolled with its wooden frame and complete set of keys.
