My work engages with oxidized images drawn from the collective memory of the 20th century. According to Aristotle, from memory to reminiscence, it is necessary to reactivate images through imagination in order to know their sensory power. Therefore, the gaze (of portraits) becomes power, texture becomes light. Ultimately, this transposition of images becomes my personal memory.
