How much more typical of the period could a beautiful, high-quality old-cut diamond have been staged in the years around 1930 than here? The elegant ring corresponds in every respect to the modern aspirations of Art Déco. Geometric and clear, without losing any of its delicacy and sophistication, it embodies the style of this turbulent period through and through. At its centre, the solid platinum ring showcases an imposing old European cut diamond of 2.60 ct weight. Its colour is a slightly warm white, like icing on a cake. A subtle setting made of fine platinum holds the large brilliant-cut diamond in airy prongs, and four further baguette-cut diamonds set the stepped ring shoulders. The ring is in first-class condition and is a unique, simply inspiring piece of jewellery with an individual old-cut diamond of substantial weight. An auspicious gift of love that found its way to us from Munich and comes with an external appraisal.
