The semi-open weave clearly highlights the typical “fire marks” and the small irregular yarn knots, unmistakable testimony to artisanal spinning and the subsequent pounding on early 20th-century handlooms. The Central Monogram: At the top presides a majestic and sinuous floral monogram with intertwined initials "T" and "S" in an elegant late 19th/early 20th-century cursive script, masterfully executed in relief chain stitch. Cutwork Technique: The letters and the rich botanical trailing motif (characterized by umbrella-like flower heads and symmetric foliate designs) are finished with a very fine cutwork stitch, with the perforations impeccably clean and stable thanks to perfect needle-linking bars.
