Bedspread - 240 cm - 240 cm - Hand-strung Sicilian

Wonderful bedspread in pure natural linen, airy and rustling, made in the 60s/70s in Southern Italy, probably Sicily. The linen is cut to 240x240 cm and was worked with a flawless embroidery technique in Sicilian drawn-work. The bedspread features on all four sides a tall border in drawn-work that frames it all around. The center, also embroidered, enhances the beauty of the piece. Never used. Washed to remove the dust of time. It is ready for use.
