Original work by photographer Ben DAUCHEZ from the IGGY POP series. This spectacular XL-format print features Gilles Lellouche, a famous French actor. This piece is a digital photomontage created by Ben DAUCHEZ from photographs he took in 2014 in Marrakech, during a private photo session. This edition, exhibited at the Rencontres de la Photographie d'Arles, is the first print in a limited edition of 30 copies. The photograph, coming directly from BEN DAUCHEZ's studio, is numbered and hand-signed by the artist. It will be delivered with a certificate of authenticity drafted and signed by the photographer. Format: 40X60 Support: digital print on BARYTA FINE ART paper. It has never been framed. Passionate about photography from a very young age, Ben DAUCHEZ began in the neighborhood studios of La Rochelle. There he acquired the full basics of photographic technique, from shooting to retouching and processing in the lab. At 22, freshly graduated, he moved to Paris to further his training by becoming an on-set assistant for Daguerre studios, Le Petit Oiseau va sortir, and Studio Zéro. He had the opportunity to work with and assist some of the most talented photographers: Bettina RHEIMS, Patrick DEMARCHELIER, Terry RICHARDSON, Ellen VON UNWERTH, Marcus MAM... From certain decisive encounters arose beautiful projects and long collaborations, notably with André RAU, Bettina RHEIMS (the sultry INRI exhibition and its eponymous book at Editions Albin Michel) and Peter BEARD (Pirelli calendar 2009 in Botswana). His photographs have appeared, among others, in Condé Nast Editions (French and international), Première, WallPapers, ID, Madame Figaro, Lifestyles, Dandy Magazine... His world also interests brands with very different identities, for which he has signed institutional and/or advertising campaigns such as Dior (beauty), L'Oréal, Peugeot, Philip Morris, and Burger King (awarded at the Dubai Lynx). Ben DAUCHEZ has also created numerous portraits of celebrities (IGGY POP, Woody ALLEN, Grace JONES, Jean DUJARDIN, Gilles LELLOUCHE, Olivier MARCHAL, Carole BOUQUET, Charlotte GAINSBOURG, …) as well as portraits of beauty, world-renowned men (Olivier DASSAULT, Jacques SEGUELA...) and travelers... This photographic path has since allowed him to freely immortalize the human beauty, aesthetics, and spirit of each personality.
