BEN FROST (born in Brisbane, Australia) is a visual artist whose work seeks to challenge the norms and values of contemporary Western culture and society. The artist Ben Frost is best known for his bold and irreverent Pop Art. His instantly recognizable approach to pop culture subverts the everyday iconography of the world’s leading brands. By subverting the meanings and messages of mainstream media, Frost’s satirical commentary on advertising, entertainment, and politics is both confrontational and controversial. Exhibiting internationally over the past two decades, Frost’s solo exhibitions have covered London, New York, Sydney, Los Angeles, Toronto, Singapore, Berlin, Miami, Turin, Bangkok and San Francisco. His work has been widely presented in media institutions such as the BBC, The Wall Street Journal, Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.
