Bernard Maille - Vase - Stoneware - 59 cm - unique piece

Large stoneware vase with a finish patina in a gradient plum tone. Unique piece - French artisanal craftsmanship. You can leave it as it is – it stands alone as an artistic and decorative work – or enhance it with branches, seed heads, dried flowers… You can also add a small remote-controlled LED candle for evening ambiance. Its size allows it to be placed directly on the floor, but it can also sit on a low piece of furniture, a fireplace, a coffee table, etc...; its 1.7 kg weight gives it excellent stability. It is made of very thin, textured clay slabs, joined together by simple pressure; void spaces have been preserved to impart elegance and lightness despite its size. The piece was fired at 1260°C in a single firing. Shipping The pieces are protected and packed with the utmost care.
