Blackhawk Old Lager Beer Cone Top DNCMT 4 PERCENT 153-1 SCARCE CLEAN

Brewer/Business Name: Blackhawk Brewing Co., Davenport, IowaManufacturer/Plant: Continental Can Co.Date of manufacture: circa 1950sUSBC reference: 153-1 Contents/Type: 12 ozDimensions: 2-3/4 w x 5 h. Comments/description: Scarce and desirable label with Native American theme. Very difficult to find this nice. The speckling in the metallic gold is much less noticeable under normal lighting where it is diffused by shadows and reflections. Only the few larger spots remain as telltales of humidity exposure and there is only one on the front. Light patina on some of the spout and gold showing elsewhere. An impressive example.
