BOLIVIA. Cob 4 Reales, 1621-P T. Potosi Mint. Philip III. EXTREMELY FINE--Saltwater Damage. KM-9; Cal-634. Weight: 11.80 gms. Variety with Castles and Lions transposed on reverse. This charming minor coin exhibits boldly struck devices with a clear assayers letter and slightly obscured mintmark. The shield is slightly off center with the left side nicely detailed, while the reverse features both castles and a Lion in the upper left quadrant. Close inspection of the reverse above the Lion reveals small portions of the last two digits of the date. A pleasing Grade 1 from this famous wreck that is sure to see spirited bidding.
