Alla auktioner / Etnografica / Botryoidal Amethyst Cluster - Lavender and Green Crystals...
Spectacular specimen with floral crystallizations from Brazil — botryoidal formations of amethyst and quartz, emerging from a matrix that shows delicate green tones. The botryoidal structure, characterized by spherical aggregates resembling clusters, gives the piece a rich and complex three-dimensional texture, evoking the look of a mineral garden. The “floral blooms” of crystals are composed of quartz, with amethyst formations standing out for their coloration ranging from pale lavender to pale violet, offering an appealing visual contrast with the lighter areas and the underlying matrix. Each single crystal aggregate reflects light in a unique way, creating a sparkling and dynamic surface that highlights the purity and natural growth of the crystals. Coming from the rich mineral lands of Brazil, this piece is a magnificent example of how nature can sculpt geological works of art. Its formation is the result of millions of years of hydrothermal processes, where silica-rich solutions slowly deposited, layer after layer, inside rock cavities, giving life to these complex and fascinating structures. The specimen lends itself to being a focal point in any prestigious mineral collection or as a striking decorative element. Its unique aesthetics make it ideal for a museum display or as a Wunderkammer piece, capable of stimulating curiosity and admiration. Its excellent condition and pristine nature guarantee its value as a testament to the intrinsic beauty of the mineral world. Every irregularity, small fracture, cavity, or visible color variation is an integral part of the mineral’s natural formation and should not be considered a defect, but a sign of authenticity and the geological history of the specimen. The black metal support, visible in the photo, is included to allow optimal presentation of the piece.
