Louis XVI-style double-faced flat desk, made of mahogany and mahogany veneer, with a top clad in genuine leather adorned with a gold decorative motif. Beautiful traditional craftsmanship with fluted and turned legs, carved elements and meticulous finishes on all sides. The desk is finished on the back as well, allowing it to be placed in the center of a room. It has 5 functional drawers as well as 2 side pulls. The drawers feature traditional dovetail joints and are equipped with brass locks. Keys are present. The leather top is decorated with a gilded frieze around its edge. The wood shows a lovely patina and decorative grain. Dimensions : Width: 140 cm Depth: 80 cm Height: 74 cm Good overall condition, with slight signs of use and age visible in the photographs.
