Original Burmese amber from Myanmar dating from the Cretaceous period, about 99 million years old. The piece contains a well-preserved fossil beetle (Coleoptera) as well as at least one additional arthropod inclusion. Particularly noteworthy are the clearly visible anatomical details of the beetle. The main inclusion shows a very well-preserved body with recognizable body segments, elytra, and several appendages. The strongly sclerotized body structures stand out clearly from the surrounding amber. Of particular interest is the preservation of the elytra and the partially exposed abdomen. The different views allow observation of the body shape and several anatomical features of the fossil beetle. In addition to the main inclusion, there is at least one other smaller arthropod in the same amber. Additionally, there are smaller natural organic particles present in the amber. Details: * Origin: Myanmar (Burma) * Age: about 99 million years, Cretaceous * Weight: 1.08 g * Main inclusion: beetle (Coleoptera) * Other inclusion: small arthropod * Well visible elytra * Continuously preserved beetle body * Several appendages visible * Partially exposed abdomen * Other natural organic inclusions present * Natural fossil amber An interesting collectible for enthusiasts of fossil beetles and prehistoric amber inclusions. You will receive exactly the amber shown in the pictures.
