Butterfly Taxidermy full body mount - Papilio blumei - 23...

Papilio blumei — The Jewel of Sulawesi There are creatures that nature seems to have drawn with a particular intention. Papilio blumei is proof of that. Native to the forests of Sulawesi, Indonesia, this butterfly unfurls wings of iridescent metallic green, streaked with blue and gold highlights that shift with the angle of light — a living, structural color, impossible to pin down exactly. Presented on a black background in a 23x23x5 cm shadow box, every nuance of its wings is exalted with striking precision — a case that showcases the specimen as much as it protects it. Equipped with UV-resistant acrylic glass, this frame durably preserves the brightness of its hues, with a professional-grade finish. Each specimen being rigorously unique, slight variations in size or pattern may appear from one exemplar to another — making each frame an impossible piece to reproduce identically.
