(C) WINCHESTER M59 SEMI-AUTOMATIC SHOTGUN.

(C) WINCHESTER M59 SEMI-AUTOMATIC SHOTGUN. Considered one of the first truly light weight auto shotguns, this model was only produced from 1959 through 1965. To keep the weight down, this model features an engraved field scene Aluminum alloy frame with an almost black Anodized finish. The named "Win-Lite" barrel is a high-strength steel liner wrapped in glass fibers and has the applied black epoxy finish. Barrel exhibits the standard Winchester legends and single bead front sight. The alloy trigger guard is in the white. This example features the plain pistol grip walnut stock , black Winchester pad and matching plain forearm. CONDITION: Excellent. Metal retains at least 95% of its highly fragile finish exhibiting some minor handling marks. The stock is solid displaying only nominal impressions but catalog states that all stocks were checkered, therefore, this had to be an aftermarket or maybe special order. Bore is bright.Name Value Barrel Length 28" Chamber 2 3/4" Choke Modified FFL Status Curio & Relic Gauge 12 Gauge Length of Pull 14" Manufacturer Winchester Model M59 Serial Number 4597, Name, Value, Barrel Length, 28", Chamber, 2 3/4", Choke, Modified, FFL Status, Curio & Relic, Gauge, 12 Gauge, Length of Pull, 14", Manufacturer, Winchester, Model, M59, Serial Number, 4597
