Designed under the leadership of Bill Mitchell, the 1961 model was characterized by cleaner lines, a redesigned grille, and the elegant tail fins that defined the golden era of the American auto industry. This particular example has been carefully preserved in a private collection over the years. The car is in good-preserved, original condition, originates from a collection, and is presently parked with French registration documents. EXTERIOR: The bodywork is in good condition and finished in a classic blue color complemented by a contrasting white roof. The paint is believed to be the original and is in good condition, aside from some light signs of use and minor scratches appropriate for its age. The chrome trim is neatly presented as well. The chassis and undercarriage are in very good condition with no signs of repair work or previous accident damage. INTERIOR: The interior is upholstered with leather seats in a two-tone black/white combination. The upholstery shows normal signs of use but is in very good condition with no serious damage. All dashboard buttons and controls function properly. ENGINE & MECHANICS: Under the hood sits the 6.4-liter (6,400 cc) V8 engine paired with an automatic transmission. The car starts both cold and warm and the drivetrain performs excellently. The brakes, tires and suspension are in good condition. Due to the lack of a documented maintenance history, a light servicing is recommended. DOCUMENTS: The vehicle is supplied with the original French registration documents (Carte Grise).
