Carlo Bonomi (1880-1961) - La portatrice

Important figurative sculpture by Carlo Bonomi (1880–1961), titled “La Portatrice” (The Bearer), depicting a full-length female figure, with a shaven head and arms folded at the chest. The work bears on the base the inscribed signature “C. BONOMI,” clearly visible in the photographs. Of particular interest is the presence of an era photograph of the same sculpture, in which the work is perfectly recognizable.
