ABOUT THE CARRERA JOCKER The Carrera Jocker is a distinctive model from Carrera's Italian eyewear production, characterized by its substantial proportions and bold, sporty styling. An important feature of this generation of Carrera eyewear is the use of Optyl, a proprietary material developed for optical frames and associated with Italian eyewear production. Optyl allowed manufacturers to create lightweight yet strongly shaped frames with distinctive forms and finishes. The Jocker FSI-YR version is listed under the Carrera 130 Jocker designation, with the FSI-YR colour/reference code and 65–09 sizing. This example is particularly appealing as a complete original set, as it is accompanied by its original patented Carrera protective case, rather than a generic replacement case.
