Cashmere Silk - Rug - 195 cm - 125 cm

Welcome, we offer a hand-knotted, extraordinarily fine Kashmiri cashmere silk rug from India. Please view the rug with patience and attention. Each hand-made rug is unique in its drawing, detail, and color harmony, and is therefore a work of art in itself. This rug captivates with its very fine knotting, typical for genuine Kashmiri silk rugs. The elaborately designed patchwork or medallion field with numerous floral and ornamental motifs recalls classical Persian models and testifies to the highest knotting craftsmanship. The silk pile gives the surface an especially elegant sheen that varies with the light.
