The First National Bank of Celeste (Charter# 5324) is a scarce charter like many spread across the vast rural expanses of Texas as a total of 23 non-institutional notes are recorded here by the National Bank Note Census. Yet even among the recorded survivors are a number of rarities that are seldom ever traded. Issued during the 1930s shortly before National Bank Notes were discontinued in 1935, this T2 $10 is one of just four T2 Nationals recorded on this Hunt County bank and only the second to be offered since 2012 making this an opportunity among the many offered by the Jack Copeland Currency Collection.
