The watch features a very characteristic design with a rectangular case, gold-colored bezel and visible screws. The white dial is equipped with black Roman numerals, fine minute markers, and gold-colored hands. The date display is at 6 o’clock. Particularly interesting is the Chronometer version. On the dial are the inscriptions “Certina Chronomètre” and “Marine Quartz.” In the same period, Omega Marine models appeared as well, which share an identical design language. Inside, there is an original Swiss Certina quartz movement with 7 Jewels, marked on the movement with “CERTINA 129”, “SEVEN 7 JEWELS” and “SWISS.” The screwed-down case back bears the reference 129 3030 40 as well as the indications Sapphire Crystal, Newport and Water-resistant 10 ATM. The integrated stainless steel bracelet with original Certina folding clasp underlines the typical sporty-elegant character of this unusual Marine-Quartz variant.
