Rare Set of 8 Vintage Champagne Flutes (1970s) – Gold Brass and Silvered Metal Add a touch of sculptural elegance and retro sophistication to your holiday tables with this superb and rare lot of 8 vintage champagne flutes from the 1970s. With a design typical of Mid-Century Modern times and chic Brutalist style, these glasses stand out for a magnificent contrast of metals and a highly graphic silhouette. The upper part (the slender goblet) is made from shimmering silvered metal, offering the ideal purity to enjoy the effervescence of your champagnes. It rests fluidly on a stemmed base in solid gold brass delicately formed in the shape of a stalk or arum flower, which flares out to a stable circular base. Owning a complete set of 8 flutes of this model is particularly sought after and ideal for hosting guests, as these services are most often sold in pairs or by 6 on the vintage market. Condition: Very good overall for items of this era. No broken, cracked, or bent elements.
