PERRAULT – Tales of Perrault and Times of Yore – Illustrations and illuminations by Lucy Boucher – Le Chant des Sphères Editions, Nice, 1968. A richly illustrated bibliophilic edition illuminated by Lucy Boucher, presenting numerous polychrome compositions, decorations inspired by ancient manuscripts, initials, ornamental borders and significant gold highlights. The set is accompanied by a large original watercolor by Lucy Boucher, hand-made on a separate sheet of 56 × 36.9 cm. This polychrome composition, inspired by the world of fairy tales and medieval stained glass, bears the handwritten signature “L. Boucher” in red, at the bottom right. It is stored with its protective paper. The work also includes two large plates measuring 27.8 × 39.9 cm each. These feature a plate impression (cup mark) clearly visible on the reverse side, up to the edges of the print, with rounded corners characteristic of press-work. The plates are protected by interleaving sheets. Thick bibliophile paper, with untrimmed edges. Very high printing quality, colors particularly luminous and numerous gold details. Dimensions: Binding: 28.8 × 21.8 cm Two large plates: 27.8 × 39.9 cm each Original signed watercolor: 56 × 36.9 cm The set presents a fine overall condition considering its age, with a few traces of time, light foxing and marks mainly visible on some sheets and protective papers. Boucher” The photographs precisely show the offered copy and are an integral part of the description. Tę wersję wstaw do Description. Jest dużo precyzyjniejsza od poprzedniej i, co najważniejsze, nie miesza dużej akwareli 56 × 36,9 cm z dwiema planszami 27,8 × 39,9 cm.
