Chess Clock - Wood - 1950-1960 - Zaanse Chess Clock ZCS

Rare Chess Clock, there are only 15 of these clocks made by a Zaanse chess enthusiast and clockmaker. Internally, a specific mechanism to alternately turn the clocks on and off. Inscription in the middle: Z.S.C., which stands for Zeense Schaak club. Outer letters form the name of the club, DESAENDE, with the humorous note that the letters DE are used twice. This chess clock works wonderfully. The winding mechanism, the push buttons, and the hands are in perfect condition. The winding keys are unique to this clock. The chess clock shows little wear. It is unknown how many of these clocks still exist and remain intact. This beautiful clock is well packed and insured for shipment.
