An elegant Beijing-style Aubusson rug from China, produced during the period 1970-1980. It is woven in wool on a cotton base using the manual tufting technique. In this system, the wool is introduced by hand into the base and fixed on the reverse side with a special adhesive compound. Finally, a protective textile lining is added, providing stability and protecting the entire underside structure. It stands out for its delicate floral design, its soft pastel tones, and the beautiful sheen of the wool, which changes slightly depending on the incidence of light. The rug is in perfect condition, practically like new and barely used, since it has only been laid on the floor on two occasions. The protective back lining is also in excellent condition. We have two identical ones!!!
