We present a precious Beijing rug inspired by Aubusson, made between 1970 and 1980. Its elegant design combines a powder-green background with a wide cream border, decorated with roses, leaves and ornamental motifs. In the center stands a refined floral medallion that adds balance and character to the whole. It is woven in wool on cotton using the hand tufting technique. The pile is fixed to the back with a special compound and protected by a textile lining, which perfectly preserves its function and stability.
