Seemingly a bit conservatively assessed, this charming minor emanates from a VERY RARE and seldom encountered emission at Shansi, with the types of the Manchurian Provinces serving as the prototype design. One can see this inspired misspelling on the dragon side, with the English legend reading "NIACEURAN RROVINCES" in spectacular error. Also, numerous concentric circles from the guidelines are still highly visible on account of its advanced state of preservation.
