The palate is smooth and rounded, delivering flavors of toffee, dried fruits, sweet spice, and subtle oak, complemented by a delicate smoky undertone. The finish is elegant, balanced, and remarkably approachable. Today, the old bottling of Chivas Regal 12 Year Old is appreciated not only as a pleasurable whisky to enjoy, but also as a collectible piece of Scotch whisky history.
