Impressive French silver and niello watch, in excellent condition of preservation and functionality. Everything I can describe about this watch-and-chain set is little compared to its true beauty. The watch measures 5 cm in diameter and the chain 42 cm long. The chain is silver and niello, matching the watch. The watch works excellently. Front cover with beveled crystal. Excellent porcelain dial, with double numbering and the following inscription: -- CHRONOMETRE OFFICIEL A L,HEURE MILITAIRE-- 57 Fc TEMPLE PARIS--. The watch is in excellent condition. It is accompanied by its chain, also silver and niello, which matches its beauty. The photos do not do justice to its true beauty. I want to highlight what is written on the dial, something very uncommon in a pocket watch, which makes it a highly valued timepiece by any collector.
