The piece bears the 925 hallmark accompanied by a butterfly, mark associated with the German silversmith E.G. Bek, Pforzheim. Its exterior is decorated with fine regular guilloché-type lines, while the interior, fully gilded, retains its original mechanism intended to hold cigarettes. The black side button provides an elegant contrast and underscores the object's sophisticated character.
