Its white lacquered wooden frame is composed of a few geometric elements, with the angled front legs extending upward to form the enveloping backrest. The seat in woven cane introduces a natural, tactile element that contrasts with the structure's rigorous design. The lateral profile is particularly striking; the angle of the legs and the continuous line of the backrest give the chair a graphic quality and make it instantly recognizable. An exemplary example of Italian design from the early 1970s, which finds a balance between rational construction, visual lightness, and exploration of materials.
