Claire Chasanoff original acrylic painting on canvas titled Golf the Old Fashioned Way, depicting a large gathering of figures in late 19th-century attire on a golf course. The composition features a central woman putting on a green before a large Tudor-style clubhouse, surrounded by spectators and a caddy. The work is executed in a naive art style with flat planes of color and stippled foliage. Signed Claire C. 97 in the lower right corner, with the title and the artist name Claire Chasanoff inscribed in ink on the verso frame and cardboard backing.
