Clock/watch tools (13) - Complete set of keys

Complete series of thirteen old iron keys for heavy clockmaking, numbers 1 to 13, in different sizes and proportions, for winding wall clocks, desks, and other large-format mechanisms. The pieces feature oval heads and tubular shanks, with design and finish variations that add interest to the set. They retain their patina, with surface oxidation, and visible wear marks on the photographs, which form part of the description. They are offered as-is, not polished or rust removed, to preserve their full history. An opportunity to gather in a single lot a continuous series of antique keys, 1 through 13, of interest to collectors, restorers, and enthusiasts of mechanical horology. The key size is indicated on the label, though it does not necessarily have to match the size shown on the key itself, given the different numbering systems that have existed in the history of clockmaking. The measurements were determined with the gauge shown in one image, though this object is not included in the lot. The timestamp on the images certifies the current state of the piece.
