CMC 1:18 - Model car - Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe - Ref. M-088

Up for sale a rare and sought after CMC Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe 1955 model in 1:18 scale limited to 4000 pieces. The model was launched in 2011 to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the brand. Manufacturer reference number M-088, blue interior and "suitcase" side exhaust silencer. It's a beautiful and detailed model, however please read all the information below carefully. The model looks great, but to avoid any possible misunderstanding below are listed the defects so that any potential buyer should be perfectly aware of what he/she is bidding for. Factory defects: - There is some mild paint "rash"/blemishes in some places, pretty common both to CMC and lesser value models from the era. - Rear right wheel is set slightly askew, I suppose it could be remedied, but certainly it would require disassembly. There's no damage, nothing bent or broken, unfortunately it was just manufactured that way. Ownership related damage: - External rear view mirror is broken off, the base is in its' place and the mirror itself is present (and shipped), however the connecting angled part is missing. This is the most noticeable damage. - A couple of small (retouched) paint nicks. - Right headlight cover is cracked. The model comes with its' original box, leaflet and set of instruments. The tag by mistake was torn and almost discarded, but saved at the last moment and reconstructed as carefully as possible. The model number is 3360/4000. The item will be shipped using a registered national mail service Correos. Happy bidding!
