Cochi’s Art (XX) - Bubble Girl #2
Bubble Girl #2 is an ironic and powerful artwork that unites references to tradition and contemporaneity. Created in 2023, this round 50 cm canvas portrays a female figure with vivid makeup, chewing a pink gum. Executed with mixed media – acrylic, graphite, oil pastels and gold leaf – it balances sacred and profane, solemnity and playfulness. The pink pixel-patterned background and the gold-leaf frame add a precious and modern touch. This piece belongs to the Bubble Girl series, marked by an ironic and irreverent visual language that reinterprets traditional symbols in a playful, contemporary way. • Title: Bubble Girl #2 • Year: 2023 • Dimensions: 50 cm (diameter) • Technique: Acrylic, graphite, oil pastels and gold leaf on canvas • Frame: included, covered with gold leaf
