Cocktail Ring in Platinum, Sapphires, and Diamonds

An Art Deco-inspired platinum Cocktail ring, featuring at its center an intense royal blue sapphire weighing 1.40 carats, with a rectangular cut featuring beveled edges, a stepped cut, and a delicate metal border. Four baguette-cut blue sapphires, totaling 1.0 carat, are arranged diagonally at the corners of the design, bringing the total weight of the sapphires to 2.40 carats. Numerous small (apparently) round diamonds, totaling 0.60 carats, adorn four geometric panels surrounding the stones. The square and rectangular mounting features delicate openwork motifs, filigree scrolls, and finely crafted milgrain borders. Its broad, symmetrical, and architectural structure—characteristic of the Art Deco style—combines the deep blue of the sapphires with the sparkle of the diamonds, lending this distinctive piece a sophisticated and remarkable allure.
