Coffee table - serving table - Mahogany, Brass - Butlertray/ campaign style

Classic and stylish vintage Butler’s Tray table in traditional English 'Campaign' style, manufactured in the second half of the 20th century. This characteristic piece of furniture is finished in warm mahogany and excels in functionality and elegance. In keeping with the historical tradition, the table consists of two separate parts: a sturdy base and a generous, removable tray. The tray is equipped with four raised, gracefully curved edges with built-in handles. Thanks to the sturdy brass hinges, these edges can be easily folded down. This transforms the piece in no time from a deep tray into a generous, flat drawing-room or coffee table. This folding mechanism is directly inspired by 19th-century military campaign furniture, designed for optimal transport convenience.
