collection Hachette 1/24 - Model car - N°38 - L'Amilcar...

Tintin's Amilcar CGS from the album “Tintin in the Land of the Soviets”. With Tintin and Snowy. ◆ Note for Tintin/Hergé fans ◆ Tintin's sports car seems to have inspired Hergé by various 1920s “grand sport” models. Among them: the 1924 Amilcar CGS (top speed still 120 km/h!) Grand Sport! This car is the most famous model of the French CGS brand. Hergé reproduces the characteristic streamlined rear of the Amilcar. Although equipped with brakes on four wheels, it is a small car that combines a small-displacement engine with a chassis reduced to the minimum and a light body. Hergé's drawing is simplified. If the model reproduces the light and functional fenders, the side spare wheel and the windshield are absent. ◆ Hergé Moulinsart Collection / The Cars of Tintin 1:24 scale (2020) No. 38 – Tintin's Amilcar CGS - 2019 ◆ CONDITION NEW - Car / new - Original Plexi box / new The photos are an integral part of the description of this magnificent Amilcar CGS.
