Cup and saucer (13) - Dragonware - Porcelain - Dragonware Moriage

Japanese Moriage Dragonware – Vintage porcelain tea/coffee service with relief dragons – 13 pieces Elegant vintage Japanese Dragonware tea/coffee service, made of porcelain and decorated in Moriage technique, characterized by refined relief motifs. The service features splendid dragons in relief, with multicolored details in white, blue and red tones, on a shaded gray, black and white background. Gold finishes on the rims, handles and lids complete the elegant oriental-style decoration. The service consists of 13 pieces: 1 large teapot/coffee pot with lid 1 sugar bowl with lid 1 milk jug 5 cups 5 saucers On the bottom of the cups there is the red mark “FOREIGN”, indicative of export production. The service is in good vintage condition overall, considering its age. There are normal signs of wear and slight wear to the gold finishes. IMPORTANT: the large teapot/coffee pot has a small chip at the end of the spout, clearly shown in the photographs. The photographs are an integral part of the description and show in detail the real condition of each item.
