Cutlery set (4) - .950 silver

For sale: a beautiful and original hors d’oeuvre set in its original case. This set was manufactured in France. Dating: circa 1890–1910. The handles are made of 950/1000 pure silver and, of course, all hallmarked with the French Minerva head with a 1, indicating 950/1000 pure silver. The handles are filled for added sturdiness in use. The front parts (the scoop pieces) are made of gilded metal. The whole is refined and intricately crafted. A true collector’s item. The dimensions of the case are; length x width x height: approximately 24 x 16 x 4 cm. The serving pieces, therefore, about 16.5 – 19 cm to give a good impression. Weight including the case: 383 grams. The gross weight of the serving pieces together is 133 grams. The set is in very nice condition. The case has light signs of use / scratches on the exterior; noted for completeness. Lock etcetera—everything functions excellently. See the clearly added photos for a good and handsome impression.
