Cyril Keller - Safranhimmel

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in the Saarland region. My enthusiasm for art began in the early 1990s with graffiti. Even then I was fascinated by colors, forms, and the possibility of giving my ideas a personal expression. This passion continues to form the foundation of my work to this day. I was especially shaped by my teacher and mentor, the artist Parscha Mirghawameddin. It was with him that I learned to paint. His sense for color, his eye for composition, and his artistic experience were of great importance for my development. As his student, I was able to benefit from knowledge and passion that accompany me to this day. I am very grateful to Parscha for sharing his experiences with me and for supporting me on my artistic path. Learning from him was a special opportunity for me. On this basis, I developed my own visual language and found my personal approach to painting. Since 2015 I have been dedicating myself with great enthusiasm to abstract art. I am especially fascinated by the squeegee technique: the interplay of color layers, the resulting textures, and the surprising forms that give each painting its own character. In this process, learned craft combines with intuition and a joy of experimentation. My paintings are meant to enliven spaces, evoke emotions, and give viewers long-lasting pleasure. Each work leaves room for one’s own thoughts and discoveries. Exactly this openness makes abstract painting so special to me: a painting can mean something different for everyone and reveal new aspects over time. With every canvas I continue to develop my work — carried by my artistic roots, the valuable impulses of my teacher, and the desire to create something own. The canvas is unstretched and is carefully rolled in a shipping tube for dispatch. An authenticity certificate is included with the delivery.
