► “Crimson Tension” – Original Painting Original handcrafted painting by Daniel Witschkanow, 2026 Description “Crimson Tension” depicts an expressive, intensely charged portrait built from a dense lattice of wine-red lines. The face does not emerge closed and calm, but seems to be forming in the moment of inner tension. It is precisely this mix of figurative recognizability and abstract dissolution that gives the work its particular emotional impact. The composition thrives on a striking contrast: fine, nervous threads and linear movements meet open white spaces and deliberately placed stronger areas in wine red and pink.
